Iris Parade captures Louisiana irises at dusk, blooming in rhythm across a deep, electric sky. Painted quickly and intuitively, each mark holds its own energy, creating a field that feels alive rather than arranged.

The long, horizontal format is made to anchor a space. It sits beautifully over a bed, a console, or along a wide wall where a single piece can carry the room. The dark ground allows the color to glow and shift throughout the day, drawing you back in each time you pass it.

Part of my ongoing exploration of land and water in South Louisiana, this piece holds both stillness and motion. It is the kind of painting that reveals itself slowly over time.
