MEET THE ARTIST

Lindsey Jenneman

Lindsey is an artist hailing from the city of Mandeville, Louisiana. After a series of life changes, including relocating to North Carolina, and starting a family while her husband pursued his career in oncology; Lindsey found herself yearning for the unique spirit of her Louisiana roots. It was during this time that she fully embraced her passion for art and transitioned into a full-time artist.

Deeply inspired by her love for her home state and its rich culture, Lindsey pours her heart and soul into her artwork. She believes that Louisiana has a distinct aura that sets it apart from anywhere else—a place where people are unapologetically loud, and prioritize having a good time. It is this infectious energy that she strives to capture and embody in every piece she creates.

Lindsey's journey took an unexpected turn when she painted a heartfelt tribute to her family dog using a stencil she had created in Photoshop. The desire to make the painting an exact replica of their beloved pet, led her to develop a unique stencil method which she continues to employ in her artwork today. This innovative technique became the foundation for her brand, aptly named "Lemme Paint Dat."

The name "Lemme Paint Dat" originated from a playful Instagram post where Lindsey shared her dog painting and jokingly offered to 'lemme paint' other people's pets. The post garnered attention and interest from others who wanted to commission her artwork, and before she knew it, "Lemme Paint Dat" was born.

Lindsey's talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed, as her artwork can now be found adorning the walls of Outback Steakhouse locations around the world. With each stroke of her brush, she continues to infuse her pieces with the lively and infectious spirit of Louisiana, reminding everyone of the joy and vibrancy that can be found in embracing one's roots.

Through her art, Lindsey celebrates her heritage, embraces her newfound role as a mother, and embraces the beauty that surrounds her. She is a testament to the transformative power of following one's passions, even in the face of change and uncertainty.
