Intuition vs. Information

Created during Gemini season, this painting came from a question I found myself asking over and over again. At what point do you stop gathering information and trust what you already know?

As a Gemini Venus, I've always loved research, conversation, and seeing every side of an idea. But somewhere along the way I realized that information can only take me so far. Some decisions, especially creative ones, ask for something quieter. Instinct. Taste. A willingness to move forward without having every answer.

A flock of birds moves across a South Louisiana marsh, each following its own path while remaining connected to the whole. That felt like the perfect metaphor. We gather information from one another, but eventually each of us has to choose our own direction.

Part of the Land & Sea collection, Intuition vs. Information reflects a season of learning to trust myself more deeply. It is a reminder that knowledge has its place, but intuition is often the voice that arrives first.
